I wanto make a chatroom but I dont's know where I must start scripting... I'm a newby... I know a little HTML but ASP is very difficult... A friend from me recomended me this site... He said he gets parts from a script from the web but my question is where... Or must I search google? Please... I don't get it! |

Easiest thing to do is to get a Java freeware applet. Using asp requires the browser to refresh over and over again.

hey u can create ur own chat room its a simple work first u just design ur forms using html then side by side u study the asp coding then u could construct it

maybe not a beginers dream (but you gotta start somewhere), but ajax is great for making chats. you can use any server-side language you want coupled with a little javascript and boom, a nice chat room with no browser refresh.

I've been looking a lot a AJAX on .NET 2.0 and it looks fanastic... knowing how AJAX works on this framework, im sure chat sites will look amazing!
