onchange if record exist

i make a webform where manager can fill in a accountform and send it to the administrators. The managers have to fill in a unique personal number,so if they fill in a number, it's checking in a access database if the number already exist. If the number exist there will me a message like "a employee with this number already exist" if the number not exist nothing happened and the manager can furher filling in the form.
i can't find anything on the web.
note, the access database not have to be updated. |
